    MDiv (Duke University) PhD (University of Chicago) William Schweiker works in the field of theological ethics. His scholarship and teaching engage theological and ethical questions attentive to global dynamics, comparative religious ethics, history of ethics, and hermeneutical philosophy. He is the author of numerous books, articles and essays, including Theological Ethics and Global Dynamics: In the Time of Many Worlds, and editor of The Blackwell Companion to Religious Ethics (both Wiley-Blackwell, ).

    The editor, William Schweiker is a professor of theological ethics at the University of Chicago.
